Wilayat Mahut:
Wilayat Mahut is a state in the region of Al Wusta in the Sultanate of Oman.


Overlooking the mandate of Mahut on the Arabian Sea, Neighbors in the north state of Al Mudhaibi, Of the Eastern Region, On the north western state Adam, Of the Interior region, On the south western state of Al Duqm, and from North and east state of Jalan Bani Bu Ali, Of the Eastern Region, Contains about 32 villages, And a population of almost 8 thousand people.

Was considered one of the important ports in earlier eras, Where the industry is renowned for ships, And the transfer of passengers and goods from Oman, To all of East Africa, India and other parts of the African continent, Carriers of the Omani products, And returning with goods that were not present at the time in Oman.



There is in the state of Mahut three islands, Most important of the island ( Mahut ) surrounded by trees ( Qaram ) or mangrove from all sides. And The Island ( Al Rak ) with wonderful landscape. And The Island ( Ab ) characterized by the presence of large numbers of seabirds, Birds such as gulls and herons flying, As well as other types of migratory birds.

The coasts of Mahut most important: Kansa Coast, Ras Ruweis, Al Khulaf, Nabtut, Ras Al Zakhar and Ras khaba Sarab.




It is the most important valleys of the Valley ( Madera ), The largest valley has its Ghaf tree density, There are landscapes by many of them ( Ain Al Slm ), and the Valley ( Al Juba ), and the Valley ( Al Seel ).
