Wilayat Ibra:
Wilayat Ibra is a state in the region of Al Sharqiyah in the Sultanate of Oman.
Located Ibra In the north, And west it neighbors the state of Al Mudhaibi, On the south by the sate of Qabil, And on the east by the state of Dima and Taaiyen, And away the mandate of the Ibra about 170 km south of Muscat, And a population of 24.619 inhabitants.
Is one of the most important mandates of the Sultanate of Oman, a gate of the eastern region of the north, The mandate of the Ibra is the state and the city at the same time, to prosperity and development of urbanization, And includes a number of monuments, in most parts of the state, between a variety of castles, forts, towers, old mosques.
The area Al Menzfah her forts, towers and ancient buildings, Based plaster and cement the old Omani, Which contain inscriptions and decorations, Is one of the most prominent monuments in the state.
Among the most important castles in the state of Ibra: castle ( Al Dhahir ) in the area ( Al Yahmadi ), which has recently been restored her by the Ministry of National Culture and Heritage.
There are five forts are: Al Shubbak - Farifar - Al Daghsha - Al Yahmadi - Bait Al Qasimi.
There are also nine towers are: Al Qatabi - Al Naasiri - Al Qala'a - Al Mansur - Al Nataala - Al Qarin - San'aa - Al Safah - Burj Al Qarun.
Diverse tourist attractions in the state between: Springs - Falajs - Caves.
The most important Springs are: Abu Salih - Al Diyaan - Shabihaat. And all of these waters suitable for drinking. The ( 'Ain Al Milah ) are gaining popularity in the nature of its waters useful in the treatment of skin diseases.
Although there are 64 Falaj in the state of Ibra, However, what is left of it now is just 34.
The most important of falajs current are: Al 'Afrit - Al Masmum - Al Thabti - Abu Makhzin.
The most important mosque in Ibra is: ( Al 'Aqaba Mosque), Which was built at the foot of Jabal Al Nasiri, Where the niche is heading to the holy house, And the state took this mosque its emblem.
